Classic-pop singing sensation Selim Kagee,
accompanied by the Hugo Lambrechts Orchestra will take to the Artscape
Theater stage for one performance only on 1st Feb 2014 at 9pm as part of
the Suidoosterfees.
Selim Kagee welcomes back renowned Spanish
guitar maestro Bienyameen Camroodien as well as the the outstanding
talents of 19-year old violin virtuoso Donne de Kock to join him on
stage for this once off concert, with musical direction by Riaan van
Wyk.
Apart from the songs on
his album, Kagee introduces a selection of romantic standards in both
English and Italian, such as “Love Me Tender”, “Besame Mucho”, “Can’t
Help Falling Inlove” and evergreens such as “O Sole Mio” and
“Surrender”.
